The data correspond to estimates of the Resident Tourism Survey of the National Statistical Institute of Spain. From February of 2015, this one gives continuity to the Statistics of tourist movements of the Spaniards (Familitur) of the Subdirección General of Knowledge and Tourist Studies of Spain.
The source considers journeys to places outside the usual environment, for any reason other than employment in a company established in the place visited, which involve at least one overnight stay and a duration of less than one year.
