This statistic presents the evolution of the accommodation offer, both regulated and announced on websites for renting homes for tourism or holiday purposes, in Spain between 2014 and 2016. While the number of traditional tourist places increased by approximately 1.5%, the number of places in rental houses advertised in online platforms did it by almost 75%.
