This statistic shows the objectives of the Digital Agenda for 2015 set for Spain regarding the trust in the internet and in the digital field in general. According to the governmental objectives, in order to meet the guidelines set by the European Digital Agenda, Spain needed to reach 70 percent of individuals using security solutions at the end of that year.

The Government has decided to develop a Digital Agenda for Spain as a framework of reference to define a roadmap as regards information and communications technologies (ICTs) and e‐Administration; to build Spain’s strategy to achieve the goals of the Digital Agenda for Europe; to maximize the impact of public policies on ICT to enhance productivity and competitiveness; and to transform and modernize the Spanish economy and society through efficient and intensive use of ICTs by citizens, businesses and public Administration bodies.
