In the first half of 2022, spam and unsolicited e-mail were the most commonly reported internet security incidents by Spanish users, being mentioned by over 80 percent of respondents. Computer virus and malwares ranked second, being reported by 14.6 percent of internet users in the country. Overall, 60 percent of Spanish users who have accessed the internet have reported a cyber security incidents on the device they commonly access the web through.
