This statistic shows the annual number of professionals employed in the Spanish hospitality and travel industries between 2008 and 2018. During this 10-year period, the average amount of employees in the hospitality and travel industries registered with the Spanish social security system in the industry increased gradually and stood at approximately 1.73 million employees in 2019, but declined by almost 200 thousand employees in 2020.
