Plastic surgeons in Spain in 2020, by region
In 2020, the number of plastic surgeons in Spain amounted to 550 professionals. During that year, most of these specialists were located in the autonomous community of Madrid, namely 96 surgeons. Catalonia and Andalusia followed, with 78 and 63 professionals respectively. In comparison, La Rioja reported having only two plastic surgeons in the region.
