This statistic shows the outcome of a survey done on the experience with security threats in the private sphere in the Netherlands in 2020, by threat. As of 2020, when the respondents were asked whether they have ever faced security threats in the private sphere, roughly 45 percent of the respondents indicated that they received phishing mails. Roughly five percent, on the other hand, indicated that they received ransomware.
