This statistic shows the share of tax in prices of alcoholic beverages sold in Alko in 2018, by type of beverage and tax. As of 2018, the value-added tax for all alcoholic beverages present in this statistic accounted for 19 percent of the price of the beverage. The alcoholic beverage and packaging tax was the highest for spirits, making up 84 percent of the product price. Alcohol and packaging tax for strong beer sold in a 33 cl. bottle was 32 percent.
