The average price of lemons increased in 2021 compared to previous years and was similar to the years 2016 and 2018. However, despite this slight increase in price, this did not lead to an increase in lemon consumption in Spain, but rather a decrease.

Due to the census published by the INE, the data for 2013 were recalculated and, from that year onwards, a new series not comparable with previous data is started.
The 2013 data includes from December 2012 to November 2013.
