This statistic shows the total number of milk producers in Belgium from 2008 to 2021. In this period, the number of milk producers in Belgium decreased substantially. In 2008, there were approximately 11,000 milk producers in Belgium. By 2021, this had decreased to roughly 6,300 producers. In contrast: in 1980 there were approximately 45,000 milk producers in the country.
