In 2021, over 75 percent of abortions performed in France were drug-induced. That year, 38 percent of drug-induced abortions were registered within public facilities, 34 percent within health centers, and four percent within private medical practices. Nonetheless, 20 percent of abortions reported in France in 2021 were performed surgically in a public health facility.
