Here is a statistic that proposes to you to discover the distribution of the residents having entered accommodation for elderly dependents (EHPAD) according to their level of dependency in France in 2015, by category of establishment. It shows that more than 12 percent of the residents who entered public nursing homes in 2015 were in GIR 1, the least autonomous group. In addition, nearly 38 percent of the entrants to private, for-profit private nursing homes were in GIR 2.
