Tesla car sales in Belgium 2010-2020

As of 2020, approximately 2,910 cars from Tesla were sold in Belgium. This is a decrease compared to the previous year. Approximately 33 Tesla cars were sold in 2012 and by 2020, the sales volume in Belgium increased to a total of more than 11,000 units.

Sale volumes of alternative-fueled passenger cars

The number of electric passenger cars on the road in Belgium increased annually from 2009 onwards. In 2020, Belgium counted nearly 24,000 electric passenger cars, which is roughly 8,000 more electric cars than in the previous year.

Volume of charging stations Benelux

Recharging batteries for electric vehicles can be done at home, but charging stations placed along the roads are essential as well to fuel the cars on the go. As of 2020, Belgium counted roughly 7,468 charging stations. In the Netherlands, however, 58,237 charging stations were found, whereas Luxembourg had 923 stations to fuel electric vehicles.
