Italy: consumption of cured meat 2017, by gender
This statistic shows the results of a survey conducted in Italy between August 1 and September 4, 2017. During the survey, individuals were asked to indicate the frequency with which they used to consume cured meat on a weekly basis, broken down by gender. As of the survey period, 58 percent of men and 61 percent of women declared to eat cured meat many times per week. When it comes to a scarce consume of cured meat, 24 percent of men stated to eat cured meat rarely, whereas the ratio among their female counterparts was significantly lower (eight percent).
