Incident reports concerning knee prostheses in France 2010-2014

Regarding the methodology, the source adds the following information: "The reports of materiovigilance reported by health professionals and market operators on a PTG slip or hinge on France were retained in the analysis of materiovigilance (. ..). Among these were excluded: (1) reports on specific total knee prostheses: reconstructive prostheses indicated for cancer and custom-made prostheses "and" (1) incident reports with a level of insufficient information to identify the device (n = 5 reports). "Note that the identification of the device as PTG sliding or hinged is not always obvious from the information available. The completeness of the data is therefore not guaranteed. "
