The top three insurance groups in Spain had direct insurance premiums written which exceeded 21 billion euros in 2022. VidaCaixa led the ranking of insurance groups, with over 7.7 billion euros derived from issued premiums. Mapfre and Grupo Mutua Madrileña followed behind with 7.3 and 6.5 billion euros, respectively.
