Fashion brands with the highest brand value in Spain 2024
Zara was the most valuable fashion brand in Spain in 2024, being valued at approximately 24.97 billion U.S. dollars during the year in question. This was not, however, the only Inditex group brand to enter the ranking. In fact, the company's flagship brand was accompanied on the podium by two other of the company's brands - Pull & Bear and Massimo Dutti.
Optimism in the Spanish fashion industry
According to fashion companies, the state of the fashion industry in Spain is doing well. When surveyed in 2023, over 90 percent of major fashion companies reported that the market could be evaluated as regular or good. Further, the Spanish fashion industry’s year-on-year sales growth rate peaked in 2022 and has only fluctuated slightly since 2008, with the exception of a stark decline in 2020 (during the COVID-19 pandemic). According to provisional data, sales volume may decrease slightly from 2023 to 2024, but Inditex group and other major players in the Spanish fashion industry remain hopeful, and brands like Zara have achieved popularity worldwide.
International growth
The Inditex Group has been increasing its sales worldwide since 2004. While the company generated most of its net sales in Europe in 2023, Inditex group has valuable markets in other regions, such as Asia and the Americas.
