Antoine Griezmann was followed by Kylian Mbappé and Paul Pogba, respectively playing in 2018 for Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United. Mbappé, who had an estimated transfer value of 186.5 million euros as of June 2018, earned more than 24 million euros compared to 22.1 million euros for Paul Pogba. But this ranking also shows that French basketball players in the NBA were some of the highest-paid French athletes.
