Brazil: electric motor vehicles registrations 2006-2023, by type

In 2023, registrations of electric vehicles in Brazil maintained an increasing trend. That year, over 92,800 electric passenger cars were registered in the South American country, an increase of 90.5 percent in comparison to the previous year. Meanwhile, registrations of light commercial vehicles more than doubled, reaching 1,100 units.
