Italy: distribution of foreign tourists' expenditure by accommodation in Tuscany 2016
This statistic illustrates the distribution of foreign tourists’ expenditure in Tuscany, Italy, in the period from January to December 2016, broken down by accommodation type. According to the study, expenditure on hotels and holiday villages made up the largest portion (63 percent) of the total accommodation expenditure of foreign tourists visiting the region. This was about three times as much as the expenditure on holiday rentals (22 percent).
