This statistic shows the results of a survey conducted in Italy between July and August 2015. In the survey, electronic cigarette smokers were asked to indicate the key drivers of their choices. As of the survey period, 43 percent of the interviewed people stated that e-cigarettes were less harmful than the regular ones. Furthermore, 42 percent of the respondents declared that being allowed to smoke in areas where smoking was prohibited represented an advantage.
