As of April 2022 in Italy, Intesa Sanpaolo had the highest annual share trading turnover among selected domestic banks listed on the Milan Stock Exchange (also known as Borsa Italiana). Between January and April 2022, Intesa Sanpaulo had a turnover of approximately 26.5 billion euros. This was followed by Unicredit, which saw a share turnover of around 25 billion euros. The third place ranking is completed by Banco BPM, with a share trading turnover of approximately 5.3 billion euros.
