The share of rural population in Mongolia saw no significant changes in 2023 in comparison to the previous year 2022 and remained at around 30.91 percent. Yet 2023 saw the lowest share in Mongolia with 30.91 percent. Rural population is calculated as the difference between the total population and urban population. National statistical offices may have their own definition of people living in rural areas.
