This statistic shows the share of tax in the retail prices of tobacco products in Finland as of July 2017, by type of product. As of July 2017, tax accounts for 52 percent of the retail price of cigarettes and fine-cut tobacco. At that time, the per unit tax of cigarettes was increased to 49.50 euros per 1,000 cigarettes. The tobacco taxation in Finland is high in comparison to other EU countries.
