Chicken meat consumption decreased in 2021. Since the beginning of the period observed in 2010 with a consumption of 14.59 kilos per person, the consumption of this type of meat has dropped to 12.06 kilos in 2021. A drop that, in part, is related to the irruption of new diets such as vegan, which excludes all types of food consumption which has an animal origin.
