People driving under the influence of alcohol in Brazil 2023, by years of education
As of 2023, Brazilian adults who had more years of formal education were more likely to drive after consuming alcohol compared to those with less education years. When asked whether they drove after having consumed alcoholic beverages, around 8.3 percent of respondents who had a formal education of 12 years or more answered affirmatively in 2023. On average, nearly six percent of adults admitted to have driven under the influence of alcohol in Brazil as of that year.
