This statistic shows the results of a global online survey that took place in June 2015 asking online retailers about which provider should be responsible for fulfilling the returns. According to just over 20 percent of eTailers, the return of deliveries should be managed by the shipper.

Data is based on businesses with up to 500 employees and global revenue from online sales amounting to 20 percent or more of their total sales from the following countries: Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States. All businesses surveyed sold goods that required physical delivery to customers.
