This statistic depicts the provisional results of the General Election in New Zealand on September 23, 2017. As of September 25, 2017, the National Party (NAT) got 46 percent of the votes and became the strongest party. Compared to the last election in 2014, the NAT lost approximately one percent of votes. The second strongest party was the Labour Party, which is let by Jacinda Ardem, with 35.8 percent of votes, gaining about 10.7 percent compared to the previous election. The Labour Party was the largest winner in the 2017 elections.
