This statistic presents the results of an online survey conducted in August 2017 about the usage of autonomous driving vehicles among internet users in Japan. The survey revealed that with 66 percent the majority of Japanese internet users has had heard of self-driving cars, but never used it. It was further found that only one percent of the respondents have had used driverless cars before as of August 2017.
