The source adds the following information: "This represents incidents where an amount of money or cash had been stolen or taken as a direct result of fraud, regardless of any later reimbursement, or any additional charges or costs incurred (e.g. bank charges, repair costs, replacement costs etc). Incidents of computer misuse are therefore not included in the analysis."
*Fraud includes bank and credit account fraud, non-investment fraud, advance fee fraud and other fraud.
**Computer misuse includes unauthorized access to personal information, hacking and computer viruses.
***Long standing illness or disability includes those whose affliction limits activities or does not limit activities.
