Get in touch with us nowThe annual gross revenue generated by Grupo Pão de Açúcar (GPA) in Brazil amounted to 20.6 billion Brazilian reals in 2023, up from 18.5 billion Brazilian reals registered a year earlier. GPA's business units used to include the following chains of super/hypermarkets and convenience stores: Extra, Pão de Açúcar, Assaí, Minuto Pão de Açúcar, Minimercado Extra and Aliados Compre Bem. Assaí spun-off from GPA and Grupo Éxito merged into GPA as a result of the corporate reorganization approved on December 31, 2020.
In that same year, GPA was ranked fourth among the leading Brazilian supermarkets based on annual gross revenue.
