In the third quarter of 2022, over 40 percent of the sites consuming natural gas were supplied in the alternative market, 34 percent by historical gas suppliers, and 24 percent purchased natural gas at regulated tariffs.
Non residential sites accounted for the largest share of gas purchased by alternative suppliers.

** Historical electricity suppliers: ENGIE environnement (ex GDF-Suez), Tegas, local power supply companies and their subsidiaries. An historical supplier can not be considered as an alternative one outside of its historical service area.(see CRE website)
*** Regulated sales rate only available by ENGIE, as opposed to market price sales available by historical and alternative suppliers.
Market distribution in three branches:
Non residential transport sites (1,000 sites): large industrial sites connected to the transport network.
Non residential distribution sites (650,000 sites): mass market of non residential sites and large industrial sites connected to the distribution network.
Residential sites (10.6 million sites): individual customer consumption sites.
