The number of nights spent in tourist accomodations incl. hotels, holiday and other short-stay accommodation as well as camping grounds, recreational vehicle parks and trailer parks in Ireland increased by 5.7 million nights (+16.32 percent) compared to the previous year. With 40.64 million nights, the number of nights spent thereby reached its highest value in the observed period.
