Victims of bullying, physical, psychological violence in Italy 2020

According to a recent survey published in 2021, young people in Italy experienced various types of violence. About 45 percent of respondents aged 13 to 23 years reported having been the victim of bullying, which was the most common form of violence suffered by young people. Similarly, psychological violence from their peers, was experienced by 42 percent of Italian interviewees. Other forms of violence included unwanted sexual attention, psychological violence from adults, cyber-bullying, sexual harassment, and threats of violence.
