Toyota was the world's best-selling sport utility vehicle (SUVs) brand in 2018 with sales in excess of 2.15 million units. The Toyota RAV4 compact crossover SUV was also the world's best-selling SUV model and among the best-selling light vehicle models overall in 2018. Sport utility vehicles accounted for almost one third of Toyota's product range in 2018.
