Purpose of international tourists visiting Iceland 2016, by nationality
This statistic shows the results of a survey conducted with international tourists in Iceland in the summer of 2016, asking them for their purpose of travel, by nationality. Of respondents from Italy and Spain, 100 percent said that they visiting Iceland on vacation, while approximately 18.2 percent of Norwegians went there for a specific leisure related event.
