This statistic shows the results of a survey conducted with international tourists visiting Iceland in the summer of 2016, regarding the aspects of Icelandic nature that motivated their decision to visit Iceland. Of respondents, about 32 percent said that they were motivated to visit the lava and volcanoes present in Iceland. Another 17.5 percent were motivated to see the glaciers.
