In 2023, there were around 25.5 million landlines in service in Brazil. This is a decrease compared to the 27 million landlines recorded in 2022. The number of landlines registered in 2023 was also the lowest since 2001. Meanwhile, the number of fixed broadband subscriptions in Brazil has consistently increased since 2005.
