In 2021, the turnover of the cocoa and chocolate manufacturing industry in Denmark increased by 77.2 million euros (+16.68 percent) since 2020. In total, the turnover amounted to 540.11 million euros in 2021. This increase was preceded by a declining turnover in this industry. Turnover is defined by Eurostat as the total of all sales (excluding VAT) of goods and services carried out by the enterprises of a given sector during the reference period.
