December was the most expensive month to buy meat in Spain, with an average price of 7.87 euros per kilo, which represents nearly one euro above to that in November. February ranked as the cheapest month in which Spaniards could purchase meat, with an average of 6.55 euros per kilo. In addition, meat consumption in Spain has also been broken down by type.
