In 2023, the number of passengers at Keflavik Airport had the highest number of passengers among Icelandic airports and amounted to roughly 7.8 million passengers, even thought the airport did not operate domestic flights. In terms of domestic traffic, Reykjavik Airport was the leading with, 348,891 domestic passengers. Moreover, Reykjavik Airport also hosted 5,725 internation passengers that year.
