Occupancy rate of campgrounds in major Spanish tourist areas 2020
The Costa Blanca, located in the province of Alicante, was the busiest camping area in Spain in 2020, registering a pitch occupancy of 67 percent. Pirineus and the Valencian Coast had the second and third occupancy rate among the major tourist areas in the European country, with roughly 46 percent each. Benidorm was the busiest camping destination in Spain in 2020.
