Get in touch with us nowAs of August 2024, about half of the respondents prefer Erna Solberg of the main opposition party the Conservative Party as Prime Minister of Norway. The Conservative Party leader was leading the poll through much of 2023, but lost parts of her support after a scandal was uncovered where her husband had not been fully disclosed his activity on the stock market while she was Prime Minister. Current Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre lost much of his support through his first year in office. Solberg was Prime Minister of the country from 2013 to October 2021, when Jonas Gahr Støre of the Labour Party became the Scandinavian country's new Prime Minister after the parliamentary election. One fourth of the respondents did not have a preferred candidate.
