This statistic shows the results of a survey that was conducted between January third and sixth, 2017, on the time of day when United States consumers most often purchased gasoline, by age group. During the survey period, a 28 percent share of U.S. adults between the ages of 35 and 49 stated that they often purchased gasoline in the morning, or roughly between the hours of 6 am and 10 am.
