In 2027, the organic agricultural land area in Finland is expected to reach nearly 400 thousand hectares. According to the forecast, the share of organic agricultural land will constitute 15 percent of all agricultural land in 2022, and roughly 17 percent in 2027. As of 2019, approximately 307 thousand hectares of agricultural land area was under organic cultivation in the country.
