Survey on individuals knitting in Norway 2016, by age group and gender
This statistic shows the result of a survey on individuals knitting in Norway, by age group and gender. According to the survey, roughly 60 percent of the female respondents aged 60 to 80 stated that they had knit or made garments or other products of wool during the past 12 months. Females aged 18 to 29 were less interested in knitting, roughly 30 percent having made something out of wool within the past year. The corresponding share of the male survey respondents of this age group amounted to significantly less, only 7 percent having knit anything in the past 12 months.
