Renewable energy's share of the German energy mix 2010-2022
In 2022, renewable energy's contribution to the German energy mix amounted to 44 percent. Figures presented a trend of growth during the period in consideration, peaking at 44.4 percent in 2020. While in 2010, renewable energy made up 16.7 percent of the German energy mix, its share increased more than twice that by 2020.
