This statistic shows the share of RSPO certified palm oil sold or used in the supermarkets and restaurants of the S Group from 2014 to 2016. Over the period under survey, the share of RSPO Segregated palm oil increased at the expense of other certification schemes.
The S Group is a Finnish retailing cooperative headquartered in Helsinki, Finland. The group consists of independent regional cooperatives and SOK Corporation, which is owned by the cooperatives, and its subsidiaries. Additionally, the S Group includes local cooperatives. Finland is the main market of the S Group but it also has operations in Russia and the Baltic States.

RSPO refers to the association commonly known as the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil. The supply chain regarding each certification present in this statistic is as follows:
Segregated = Sustainable palm oil from different certified sources is kept separate from ordinary palm oil throughout supply chain.
Mass Balance = Sustainable palm oil from certified sources is mixed with ordinary palm oil throughout supply chain.
Book & Claim = The supply chain is not monitored for the presence of sustainable palm oil. Manufacturers and retailers can buy Credits from RSPO-certified growers, crushers and independent smallholders.

Missing percentage points to 100 percent are probably due to rounding.
