In 2023, the sales revenue of the Finnish retailing cooperative S Group amounted to 241 million euros in Estonia. From 2012 to 2014, S Group's retail sales increased steadily in the Baltic countries and Russia, but after peaking at 583 million euros in 2014, the retail sales declined each year. In 2017, S Group closed all its operations in Latvia and Lithuania due to unprofitability. The business operations of Prismas and hotels in St. Petersburg were sold in June 2022. S Group ended all business operations in Russia that year.
S Group is a Finnish cooperative operating in the retail and service sector. The group consists of independent regional cooperatives and SOK Corporation, which is owned by the cooperatives, and its subsidiaries.
