The share of children aged 12-23 months immunized against diphtheria, pertussis and tetanus (DPT) in the Philippines increased by 15 percentage points (+26.32 percent) in 2022 in comparison to the previous year. In total, the share of children amounted to 72 percent in 2022. This increase was preceded by a declining share of children. Child immunization, DPT, measures the percentage of children ages 12 to 23 months who received DPT vaccinations before 12 months or at any time before the survey. A child is considered adequately immunized against diphtheria, pertussis (or whooping cough), and tetanus (DPT) after receiving three doses of vaccine.
